Sometimes writing books hundreds of pages long simply takes too long and I want a quick reward instead. No need to construct intricate plots or organize and develop thousands of data points. Just write something quick and fun and then DO something with it, SHARE it somewhere to give meaning to the effort.

So I set up Utah Fast Fiction to provide such a place where I can write and you can read.

If you're like me and would like to share your work here, say so in a comment and I'll get in touch! Later, when I develop this site further, I'll make an official submission page.

The rules will go like this:

PG rated max. Nothing offensive. Angry political stuff will not be accepted, but nuanced is fine. For example, if you submit a story about President Ronald Rump Or Joe Brandon, and it sounds anything like 45 or 46, it will ONLY be considered if it's really funny or something with value, and not just angry outrage or otherwise stupid-divisive.

It also has to be well written and good enough to enjoy. If not, we *may* respond with revision tips, or if I'm just too busy, you may assume we're waiting for you to resubmit after you've gotten feedback and reworked it and made it awesome. Now that you mention it, I'll probably add some writing tips to this site from my university writing instructor days.

You'll grant UtahFF.com a license to display your story in perpetuity, but you'll retain all other copyright.
